Jaxx Ghost is a music project born from decades of loving music and the new possibility of making it. Built with AI tools, a deep musical ear, and a lifetime of NorCal mountain soul.

Understanding the complexity of a more simple life.

Multiple voices. Male and female leads. Country that drifts into rock, atmospheric soundscapes, and places most Nashville never touches. Every song is a window into California's Sierra Nevada. The fog in the pines, the two-lane roads, the people who stayed and the ones who left.

Chicks Dig Me

Chicks Dig Me

In memory of Richard Mach

Some songs belong to an album. This one belongs to a friend. "Chicks Dig Me" is a standalone single written in honor of Richard Mach, a good friend of Jaxx Ghost who passed away. It's the kind of song he would have laughed at, turned up loud, and claimed was written about him.

Because it was.

Lights on Friday (Outlaw Duet)
Lights on Friday (Outlaw Duet)
Outlaw Country / Male-Female Duet
The same Friday night, the same town, but from the ridge looking down. Two outlaw voices trading verses over Mariposa, California — one who never left, one who always comes back. Real town names, real family names, real Gold Country dirt under the lyrics.

Lights on Friday (Muddy Streets)
Lights on Friday (Muddy Streets)
Art Rock / Deconstruction
The same Mariposa Friday night, deconstructed. Art-rock production tears the town apart and rebuilds it as something cold, beautiful, and slightly wrong. The lyrics stay rooted in Bullion Street and Highway 49. The production doesn't know where it is anymore.

Since Dawn (Deconstruction)
Since Dawn (Deconstruction)
Electronic / Atmospheric
The album's central heartbreak stripped to its wiring and rebuilt as cold electronic architecture. Dawn's absence rendered in digital frost.

When Is Here (Santa Barbara)
When Is Here (Santa Barbara)
Acoustic Alternative / Intimate
The existential question stripped down to an acoustic guitar and a voice that aches but never breaks. A small club, a single spotlight, and the weight of time rendered as intimacy. The Santa Barbara you hear isn't a place — it's a feeling you can't get back to. Same lyrics.

Dirt Road Saturday (De-evolution Boy)
Dirt Road Saturday (De-evolution Boy)
Synth-Punk / New Wave
The catalog's most popular bro-country track fed through an early 1980s synth-punk filter. Choppy guitars, drum machines, and deadpan vocals replace the truck and the bonfire. The lyrics are unchanged. The production is from another planet. Part one of a matched pair.

Dirt Road Saturday (De-evolution Girl)
Dirt Road Saturday (De-evolution Girl)
Synth-Punk / New Wave
Her truck. Her night. Her rules. The same synth-punk filter, flipped to her perspective. The vocal landed somewhere between new wave and a B-52s party. Same lyrics, different driver. Part two of the matched pair.

When Is Here (Delta Drift Demo)
When Is Here (Delta Drift Demo)
Country Rock / Alternative
A country rock reimagining with a moody alternative undertow. It opens as a duet, then the song slides to her and never comes back. He starts it. She carries it home. Same lyrics. The handoff is the story.

Still Know Every Road (Duet)
Still Know Every Road (Duet)
Country Rock / Duet
The solo coming-home meditation reimagined as a male-female country duet. Two voices trading the same roads, the same fences, the same regret. Full band, full stage, full color. Same lyrics. This time the memory belongs to both of them.

Dust and Neon (Golden Girl)

Dust and Neon

The Golden Girl Single

The second Jaxx Ghost album goes somewhere Dawn's Light never could. Jaxxabilly is all swagger, all fun, all Friday night. Neo-traditional country with a rockabilly pulse, genre collisions nobody saw coming, and a female voice that owns every room she walks into.

New boots, golden locks, and tequila pouring through liquid neon lights. Same artist. Different frequency. One album makes you think. This one makes you move.

Cowboy hat. Guitar low. Grin wider.

A standalone project, separate from Dawn's Light. Five discs spanning the full arc of recorded popular music, from the parlor to the machine.

Born from Listening

Jaxx Ghost isn't a band. It isn't a solo act. It's what happens when someone who spent thirty years listening, really listening, finally gets the tools to make something back.

The project is rooted in California's Sierra Nevada mountains. Generational roots that go back to the 1850s. Miners, loggers, blacksmiths. A great-grandfather who composed a parlor song in 1921. A creative inheritance that waited a century to find its next voice.

Every track on Dawn's Light is built with AI music tools and shaped by a human ear that knows what it wants to hear. The result is country that drifts into rock, into atmosphere, into places where the pines hold fog and the fence lines hold memory.

"A music project born from decades of loving music and the new possibility of making it." Jaxx Ghost
